Create Preset - Dreep API Documentation

A preset is a named transform, so call sites don’t repeat parameters and the recipe can change without touching them. See Presets.

Parameters

Parameter	Type	Description
`key`	`string`	Required. What callers pass as the `preset` transform parameter
`name`	`string`	Required. Human-readable label
`transform`	`TransformParams`	Required. The recipe
`signal`	`AbortSignal`	Cancels the request

Returns

{ id: "…", key: "thumbnail", name: "Thumbnail", params: { width: 200, … } }

Using it

Once saved, apply it anywhere a transform is accepted:

dreep.url(asset, { preset: "thumbnail" });
await dreep.upload({ file, presetKey: "thumbnail" });

Changing a preset changes what every call site delivers, without a deploy.

Errors

Error	Cause
`DreepLimitError`	The plan’s preset quota is full
`DreepValidationError`	Invalid transform, or a key already in use
